Mule debug is not working for me.
I've created a breakpoint and started the application in debug mode. When looking at the Mule Debugger View it says "Mule Debugger is not running. Launch your Mule application in debug".
I'm running on CE while my coworker is on EE and debug seems to work for him. Is debug a EE only feature, is this a bug or some configuration issue that I've not figured out yet?

Debugger is a EE runtime feature and was introduced in Studio 3.4.0 and requires Mule EE 3.4.0 too.
If you are upgrading an existing older Studio installation you will also need to download the 3.4.0 runtime too (This one comes already bundle with the newest Studio)

Sorry I posted in the wrong topic, however this issue is affecting me too. I get the message that the debugger is not running, but I am using the EE version. Can't figure out why the debug option just doesn't seem to do anything different from normal run.

Does this mean that I am using 3.6.1 of Mule but Anypoint is upgraded one 5.4.1
Anypoint Studio - Tooling for Mule ESB
Version: 5.4.1 Build Id: 201512161232
For me also the Mule debugger is not running.

Hi @dhanjeet, to clarify, if you are using 3.6.1. EE Mule runtime (which you are looking at your screenshot) and Anypoint Studio 5.4.1 (which you will be is you've updated to the latest version), you should be able to you the debugger.
The general reason for it not working is due to a port clash with another application. Therefore, you have to find a port that is not already being used. Either try several times to find an unused port or download software that will list the ports already being used (you will need to search for this yourself as I can't remember the name of it).
If this doesn't work, then the only other issue I can think of is that you have a corrupted install of Mule (or maybe one of your existing plugins isn't working correctly). In this situation, I'd suggest a fresh install of Anypoint studio.

Thanks@Dylan But considering that I have upgraded to 3.7.3 EE, resolved the port issue before upgrading too. But it does not seem to work.
The last option I would try is Reinstalling fresh and starting allover again. May be this will work.
